Om Draktö
Dragon Melt is an aim-and-bounce shooter. Ember is a baby dragon whose nest sits at the foot of a frozen valley, and every turn a new row of ice slides in at the top and the whole wall creeps one row closer. Each block shows a number: that is how many ember touches it takes to melt it. Ember breathes all her embers in one stream, and they ricochet off the walls, the ceiling and the ice until they fall back to the ground.
Some blocks hold a frozen friend: a firefly, a frog, a bluebird or a bunny. Melt the block and the friend hops free with a thank-you bonus. The journey runs through Frozen Brook, Snowy Pines, Crystal Cave and Aurora Peak, with a new place every 8 waves, and the numbers on the ice keep growing, so the game is about finding the angle that keeps your embers bouncing inside the wall for as long as possible.
Så spelar du
- Aim and let go. Ember starts with 3 embers, and each touch takes 1 off a block's number. When every ember has landed, the ice slides down one row and a new wave begins.
- The first ember to land decides where Ember stands for the next shot.
- Fly through a spark to add 1 ember to every later volley. Chilies turn the embers that touch them blue so they melt 2 per touch, sun crystals melt 1 from every block in their row or column each time an ember passes, and prisms split an ember in two until the volley ends.
- The first block melted in a volley scores 10, the second 20 and so on up to 200. A freed friend is worth 100 plus 10 per wave, and clearing the whole board pays 500.
- Melting fills the flame bar. When it is full, Roar between shots to melt the two lowest rows of ice at once.
- If ice reaches the dashed nest line you lose one of 3 hearts and Ember's panic flare clears the three lowest rows. The game ends when the last heart is gone.
Kontroller
- Tangentbord
- Drag with the mouse and release to fire. Or swing the aim with the left and right arrows or A and D (hold Shift for fine aim) and press Space, Enter or the up arrow to fire. Press R to Roar.
- Pekskärm
- Drag anywhere above Ember to aim and let go to fire, or pull back from below her like a slingshot. Tap Ember or the flame bar to Roar when it is full.
Tips
- Shallow shots that slip in behind the wall are the strongest: embers trapped between the ice and the ceiling keep bouncing and melting.
- Go for sparks early. Every extra ember counts on every later turn.
- Save the Roar for a turn when the ice is about to touch the nest line, not for a board that is already under control.
