Über Blüten-Sudoku
Petal Sudoku is classic sudoku in a garden. Inch the bookworm, a little green caterpillar with round glasses, keeps a flower bed where every number is a flower of its own colour, and the bed is only finished when every row, every column and every box holds each number exactly once.
There are three beds: a 4×4 bed for a first sudoku, a 6×6 bed and the classic 9×9 bed, each in Easy, Medium or Hard. Every puzzle is dug out by a built-in logic solver, so it has exactly one solution and can always be finished by reasoning alone, never by guessing.
So wird gespielt
- Fill every empty square. Each row, each column and each box framed by the thick lines must contain every number once: 1 to 9 on the 9×9 bed, 1 to 6 on the 6×6 bed, 1 to 4 on the 4×4 bed.
- Tap an empty square, then a number. A right number is planted as a flower. A wrong number flashes red and costs one of your three hearts; the game ends when the last heart is gone. Solving a puzzle gives one heart back.
- Switch on Notes to pencil small numbers into a square while you think; notes are free. Hint, three per puzzle, lets Inch plant the next number and tell you why it must go there.
- On the 9×9 bed a right number scores 10, times a streak of up to ×5 while you keep planting within 8 seconds. A finished row, column or box blooms for 25, a finished number scores 25, and the golden square is worth 100. Solving scores 500, plus 1 point per second left of the par time, plus 200 for a Perfect puzzle with no mistake and no hint. Medium doubles every point and Hard triples it; the smaller beds score less.
- New, the bed size and the difficulty are free on an untouched puzzle. After that they need a second tap and cost a heart.
Steuerung
- Tastatur
- Click a square, then click a number on the pad or press 1 to 9. The arrow keys move the selected square, N switches Notes on and off, H asks for a hint and Backspace clears the notes in a square.
- Touch
- Tap a square, then tap a number on the pad. Tap a planted number to light up all its copies. Notes, Hint and New sit by the number pad; the bed size and the difficulty are the two buttons near the hearts.
Tipps
- Start with the number that has the fewest left to plant: the pad shows the count under every number.
- On Hard, pencil in every candidate. Two squares in a row, column or box that share the same two notes rule those numbers out for the rest of it.
- Never guess: a wrong number costs a heart, while notes cost nothing. New to sudoku? Start on the 4×4 bed.
