Memory Match is the classic card-pairs game, also known as Concentration. Sixteen cards lie face down in a 4-by-4 grid, hiding eight pairs of fruit: apple, banana, grapes, cherries, kiwi, peach, pineapple and coconut.
Turn over two cards at a time and try to remember what you saw. It is calm, there is no timer, and a round takes a minute or two, which makes it a lovely memory workout for children and a quick focus break for grown-ups. The only pressure is the move counter: how few turns do you need to find all eight pairs?

- If the two fruits match, both cards stay face up and the pair is yours.
- If they do not match, both cards flip back after a short moment. Remember where they were.
- Every two cards you turn counts as one move.

Tipps
- Work through the grid in order, row by row, instead of tapping at random. Positions are easier to recall.
- When you turn over a fruit you have seen before, always go for its partner as your second card.
- Use your first card of a move to explore a new card, and your second to complete a pair you already know.
- Say the fruit and its place out loud, such as "cherries, top left". It really helps.
- Eight moves is a perfect game and needs luck. Anything under 14 is a strong memory.
