Kayan Deniz Papağanı hakkında
Puffin Slide is an original ice-sliding puzzle. Pebble the puffin lives on a frozen floe that is far too slippery to walk on: once Pebble starts moving, there is no stopping until a rock or the edge of the ice gets in the way.
Your goal on every floe is to come to rest exactly on the fish bucket. Because you cannot stop where you like, you have to chain slides together and use the rocks as brakes. New floes bring snow drifts, open water, currents and cracked ice, and the boards grow from 6x6 up to 9x9. Each one is checked by the game to be solvable before you see it.
Nasıl oynanır
- Choose a direction and Pebble slides in a straight line until a rock or the edge stops it.
- Stop on the fish bucket to clear the floe. Sliding over it without stopping does not count.
- Pick up fish along the way for 15 points each, with an extra bonus for collecting all of them.
- Snow drifts stop Pebble on the spot, currents carry Pebble along their arrows, and cracked ice breaks into water after you have slid off it once.
- Sliding into water, or running out of time, costs one of three hearts and restarts the floe. You get a heart back every fifth floe.
- Finishing in the fewest possible slides earns a Perfect route bonus, and leftover seconds are worth 3 points each.
Kontroller
- Klavye
- Arrow keys or W A S D to slide. U or Z undoes a move (it costs 5 seconds) and R restarts the floe.
- Dokunmatik
- Swipe in the direction you want to slide, or tap beside Pebble. Buttons above the board undo and restart.
İpuçları
- Work backwards from the bucket: find the rock, drift or edge that would stop Pebble on it, then find how to get into that row or column.
- On the first few floes the game marks where each slide will end. Use that time to learn to read the ice.
- Undo is cheaper than a splash. Five seconds is nothing compared with a lost heart and a broken streak.
- Cracked ice is a one-way door. Cross it only when you are sure you will not need that path again.
- Fish are optional. If the clock is low, go straight for the bucket.
