À propos de Le Pendu du Pissenlit
Dandelion Hangman is a gentle take on the classic letter-guessing game. Wren the field mouse is floating over a sunset pond holding a dandelion clock. A hidden English word waits below, with its category shown as the clue, and you guess it one letter at a time.
Instead of a drawing that grows, the dandelion is your counter: every wrong letter blows one seed away, and Wren drifts a little lower. Lose the last seed and she lands on a lily pad with a splash. There are more than 750 hand-picked words in 17 categories, from owl and jam to hot air balloon.
Comment jouer
- Pick a letter on your keyboard or the on-screen keys. If it is in the word, every copy of it appears in place and the key turns mint. If not, the key is crossed out and a seed blows away.
- Daily word: everyone gets the same word on the same day, with seven seeds and no hints. You get one go per day; your result and streak are saved, and a clock shows when the next word arrives.
- Endless: words come one after another and slowly get harder. You start with seven seeds per word, six from word 12 and five from word 24.
- A solved word scores 10 points per letter plus 20 per seed left, and 50 more if you lost none. Solve words in a row and a streak multiplies the points, up to five times. A golden word is worth triple.
- Missing a word costs one of three hearts and shows the answer; every five words solved gives a heart back. The game ends when the last heart is gone.
Commandes
- Clavier
- Type a letter to guess it. In Endless, press ? for a hint, and Enter or Space to move on once a word is finished. The buttons above the picture switch between Daily and Endless.
- Tactile
- Tap the letters on the on-screen keyboard. In Endless the purple Hint key shows one letter, and the amber Next key moves on once a word is finished.
Astuces
- Read the category and count the letters first: a five-letter animal already narrows things down a lot.
- Start with common letters such as E, A, R, I, O, T, N and S, then think of whole words once a few letters show.
- Short words are often the hardest because each letter tells you less, so think of every word that fits before you risk a rare letter.
- A hint reveals the letter that appears most often but costs a seed. You earn one more for every three words solved, up to five, so save them for long words late in a run.
